Magic Vocals Needed!!!

I'm Dan, 26, keyboardist/songwriter/programmer, living in London. I'm looking for the right person to help me realise my music and put together a band... I know you're out there!

So about me.. I've got Grade 7 piano, I write songs, mainly piano-driven songs; ballads, rock and electro pop/dnb... anything I think sounds good. I have plenty of gig experience... I want to make music full-time and live the dream!

I'm currently working on a recording project with renowned producer James Sanger who has worked with such talents as Keane, Dido and U2, an inventive genius with his own studio in France. We're putting a band together, built around a strong male vocal in the vein of keane/coldplay/radiohead, with some great songs and backed by a indie, DIY approach to distribution.

What we're looking for is a male singer, to inspire some confidence in the vocal department, bringing some distinctive, class vocals to the table. We've got tons of songs, and are writing more all of the time, we need someone to rock-up and sing 'em.

We're totally DIY- we have a company that does music subscriptions and we'll be selling our own music directly down the web to the audience- so you'll be in with a share of the proceeds.

I'm planning on holding auditions over the coming 8-10 weeks in London with a view to getting someone in the studio recording material by around April this year. We're very ambitious and we're really looking for someone who can bring their own enthusiasm and dedication to the project. We're interested in hearing from men and women of all ages, I imagine that the project will work best with a male frontman and a directory of supporting singers for collaborations, one-off tracks or even duets...

What I think will happen then is I'd map out a couple of sessions where we'd try-things out and see how it goes. After that, we can decide if its working or not.. I need people who can turn up and work straight away at their best, and be honest and open and take criticism.
