Website Work
It is an unalterable aspect of my character, that I will attempt to do things by myself that bear no relation to value-equations or my ability; normally resulting in costly failure, but occassionally fantastic invention. I would rank this website (something I built in Ruby on Rails) as more towards the fantastic than the failure; but the wheels are starting to come off a bit. The track upload thing broke a short while ago, and I am in the middle of upgrading the software to rails 2.3. Along the way, I want to re-haul the site, so that it is more of a stream. I liked the idea behind 'friendfeed', but it tended to become a spam log of other people's shit, rather than my own shit. Also, it was bought-out by facebook, who are a bunch of privacy-invading scumbags (you really ought to delete your facebook)...
So this evening I hacked away at some blogging code... watch this space!
