A backing track for a song I recently came up with. I'm working on some lyrics for it now, will post a vocal guide soon... If you are a singer and want to try coming up with some melodies for it, I'd be glad to hear your renditions.

The song is about absence- the feeling that you're not there when you should. Its a lament, but it has this energetic dancy feeling inspired by New Order / The Cure...

I think it could do with a middle eight somewhere, and it needs a bit of spit+polish here and there, but I'll see how it pans out with the vocals first.

Love this, real good feel to this track. Love the Club feel start beat that gives it purpose and makes you want more. When do you get time to do this, catch up with you soon.

I think you're right in your blog when you say that Robert Smith style vocals would suit this track; however you know how I feel about Bono ;-)

Very good though; up-tempo maudlin is hard to pull off.
